A Daily Practice

This session focuses on nurturing the whole being. Dr. Rolf once stated, "The sleeve is the doing and the core is the being, but the body is the only thing I can get my hands on." Peter Melchior remarked, "The process we're involved in is life." We often accept that this work revolves around pieces and parts in dynamic tissue relationships, but this may be a belief we need to expand due to the inherent limitations.

This seminar will be an experiential journey of working and playing to put Humpty Dumpty back together again, starting with ourselves. Dr. Rolf believed this work is "more for practitioner evolution than for our clients." Indeed, the two seem to go hand in hand. We will explore consciousness in this art, craft, and process. After all, Structural Integration is about altered states of consciousness as well as the soma. We bring conscious awareness to unconscious states in proprioception, interception, and exteroception, communing in somatic process moments. Whether we are conscious of it or not, we are working and playing in the field of consciousness. This workshop aims to expand our horizons and evolutionary process.

The afternoon session will be hands-on, focusing on what we each bring to the table.
